Confederate States 1 Block of 24 Stamps with Rare'X' in Gutter Variety Pos 1-1-i1

  

Condition: Fresh and rare intact left margin block of 24 stamps in the better bright green shade, with natural partial OG as shown... The block handles very solidly but does have some creasing (mostly between the stamps as shown) and a couple of other small issues that does not detract from this world class showpiece as shown... The block is plated as shown on the back, and has the rare'X' marginal marking to the top left of position 31 as shown and highlighted in the CSA catalog & handbook... I have added a nice selection of many stamps to my store.

I fondly remember going to stamp shows as a child, enjoying going through counter books where I could pick out the'ideal' stamp for me.
