Vintage Ceramic Mold Hand Painted Large 21 Piece Nativity Set RARE

  
This is a large vintage 21 piece ceramic mold nativity set, colorfully hand painted with great attention to detail. The pieces are marked on the bottom by the artist 1985/1986 with the initials B. A, but the mold maker is not marked. I have not been able to find a set like this anywhere on the internet, but it is a large size similar to the popular Holland Mold nativity pieces, which should work well for replacement pieces.

The set includes (and all measurements are approximate). Stable, 12" high x 13-1/5" wide x 6 deep. Standing Camel, 9" high x 9" wide x 5 deep. Standing Camel, 8" high x 9-1/2" wide x 5 deep. Howdah (large saddle for a camel that has a carriage to protect the passenger) for Standing Camel, 4-1/2" high x 3-1/2" wide x 2-3/4 deep.

Seated Camel, 5-1/2" high x 10" wide x 4-1/2 deep. Seated Ox, 4" high x 7-3/4" wide x 3-3/4 dep. Standing Donkey, 6-1/2" high x 6-1/2" wide x 2-1/4 deep. Kneeling Joseph, 5-3/4" high x 3-1/4" wide x 4 deep. Kneeling Mary with Scarf, 5-1/2" high, 3" wide x 3-1/2 deep (her hands are broken off).

Standing King hold a Candle, 8" high x 4-1/2" wide x 4 deep. Kneeling King (Arms outstretched to hold pillow baring gifts), 6-1/2" high x 4-1/4" wide x 4-1/2 deep. Pillow for Kneeling King, 1" high x 2-5/8" wide x 2-1/2 deep.

Goat (with babies), 3-1/2" high x 6" wide x 2 deep. Kneeling Angel, 5-3/4" high x 4-1/2" wide x 3-1/2 deep. Kneeling Sheppard Man with sheep, 6" high x 3" wide x 4-1/2 deep.

Standing Sheppard Boy with sheep, 6" high x 2-3/4" wide x 2-1/4 deep. Kneeling Sheppard Little Boy with sheep, 4" high x 3-1/2" wide x 3-1/4 deep. Manger, 1-3/4" high x 3-3/4" wide x 3-1/4 deep. Baby Jesus (Fingers on right hand chipped off), 1" high x 3" wide x 1-7/8 deep.

Standing Sheep, 2-1/2" high x 4-1/4" wide x 1-3/4 deep. Seated Sheep, 2-3/4" high x 3-1/4" wide x 1-1/2 deep.

Other than the defects noted after the item, all are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
